At Beth's Basics, we are devoted to getting back to the basics ~ honoring the simplicity and wisdom of nature. Through our connection with the land, honeybees & plants we are being taught the ancient wisdom & ways of interconnectedness, and how we are able to help each other Grow. We love to share our passion and knowledge to help others remember their own roots. Our work is guided by the rhythms of the Earth and the sacred feminine energy that flows through all living things, inviting reconnection, balance and harmony with the natural world. All of our workshops are geared towards interacting & creating with Nature. We are focused on the here and now caring for the environment ~ Mother Nature to hopefully benefit future generations.

It’s BACK!!!! The Chick Hatching Experience is Back…but on a much smaller scale. Although I thought I was finished with hatching, it wasn’t finished with me ☺️ and I’m thrilled! What is the Chick Hatching Experience????
This is a 5 week experience where you can rent the incubator, eggs & "Chick Kit" which will provide everything, literally Everything you will need to care for your fuzzy friends for up to 2 weeks after hatching! We are right here to support you the entire time, just call/message us with any questions so it's completely stress free & so much fun! The entire process is 21 days for incubation & then 2 weeks enjoying your adorable chicks which you can return to us, rehome or keep for you very own backyard flock!

You will have a rare opportunity to observe & learn from one of nature's most fascinating & productive communities! With an up-close look into the hive through an observation frame, allowing you to safely witness the inner workings of the bees while learning about each individual role, their communication, intelligence & so much MORE! From there, we walk to the hives nestled in the land, where you will safely witness a live hive inspection!

DEEP DIVE in the HIVE

HONEYBEE OBSERVATION EXPERIENCE
Step into the fascinating world of the honeybee. This unique experience offers a rare opportunity to connect with nature, and witness the inner workings of a living hive firsthand. Together, we will explore the extraordinary intelligence, communication, and the truly sacred life of the honeybee community while learning about their vital role within our ecosystem.
We will begin with an educational gathering where you’ll learn about hive structure, bee behavior, honey production, pollination, and the deeper wisdom found within the colony itself. You will have the opportunity to safely observe bees through an observation frame before suiting up and walking to the hives for our deep dive!
During our guided hive inspection, you will witness the bees in their natural rhythm as we gently move through the colony, pointing out brood patterns, pollen storage, honey reserves, worker roles, and—if we are lucky—the queen herself.
Each participant will have the opportunity to "inspect" your hive, watch the inner workings as they continue their extraordinary community life….
hold a frame of honeybees, and of course have your picture taken ☺️
We will close our gathering together by enjoying fresh honey harvested from the hives while sharing questions, conversation and our time in nature.

Foraging & Crafting Workshop
Join us for a hands-on experience where the land itself becomes both teacher and apothecary. Together, we’ll wander the land and woods to forage wild plants growing right here, learning how to identify, harvest, and honor them with care. Along the way, you’ll discover the traditional wisdom and amazing properties of these local herbs.
After our walk, we’ll gather to craft teas and tinctures—transforming fresh and dried plants into nourishing blends you can take home. You’ll learn the simple steps of preparing herbal remedies, from steeping and drying to extracting plant properties into liquid form.
What you’ll experience:
- Guided plant identification and ethical foraging practices
- Hands-on creation of your own tea blend and tincture
- Understanding the uses and benefits of what we have foraged & created
- Connection to the rhythms of the land and the wisdom of plants
This workshop is a celebration of slowing down, reconnecting with the earth, and carrying home not only your crafted remedies, but also the knowledge to continue this practice in your daily life.
